If you are in need of Energy Assistance, please take advantage of this opportunity and apply today via the phone number listed above. Below we’ve listed a brief Q and A about Citizen’s Energy for you reference.
Please be advised- Each year we are notified when and if funds will be available for the season. Vaughan is given the number above to provide to our customers who are in need of energy assistance. This is the extent of our involvement with the application process. Our customers have informed us that in years past it has been difficult to get through to apply, but please Don’t Give Up (if you get a busy signal, keep hitting redial)!
Q: What is the Citizen’s Energy/CITGO Oil Heat Program?
A: In partnership with CITGO, Citizens Energy works with thousands of oil heat dealers
an local fuel assistance agencies in 17 states to provide deliveries of home heating oil to
those in need. This year the Oil Heat Program provides eligible families a one-time
delivery of 100 gallons of home heating oil.
Q: How do I apply?
A: Citizens Energy will begin accepting calls from now through Feb 2012 (while funds last)
Simply call 1-877-563-4645 and provide them with our Dealer #102559
Please be advised that Citizen’s experiences a very high call volume, as they provide
assistance to 17 states. If you are having trouble getting through, continually hit
the redial button.
Q: What happens once I apply?
A: Once your application is processed. Citizen’s Energy will notify you with an approval
letter and a voucher for 100 gals.
-If you are an automatic delivery customer: please send us your voucher once you
receive it and we’ll apply it to your next delivery.
-If you call to schedule your deliveries: please let us know when you call to schedule
that you have a voucher and our driver will pick up the voucher when he makes your
delivery. Delivery must be made by April 30, 2012.
