Vaughan Comfort: What We’re Doing About Covid-19

Written by Vaughan Comfort Services on . Posted in .

In the state of New Jersey, construction workers, utility workers, and repair workers have been designated as a necessary service and will continue to operate through these trying times. Vaughan Comfort is taking this responsibility seriously. We’re proud to provide vital home maintenance and construction services to our clients, ensuring that they can socially isolate in safety and comfort. We’re going to be doing everything in our power to protect our clients and help flatten the curve.
We’re dedicated to providing only the highest level of service for heating, plumbing services and air conditioning repairs, construction, and installation services during this difficult period. Here are the extra steps we’re taking to protect our workers and our customers from COVID-19.

Temp Checks

Each and every Vaughan employee – especially our Technicians in the field – start their day with a temperature check. If any of our employees have a temperature exceeding 100° degrees Fahrenheit indicating any fever whatsoever, they are immediately sent home. The employee is only allowed to come back to work when they’re medically cleared.

Self-Quarantine

If a Vaughan employee exhibits any COVID-19 symptoms such as a fever or cough, they’re instructed to immediately self-quarantine. We don’t just do this to ensure the safety of our customers and staff – our team is dedicated to flattening the curve and preventing the spread of the Coronavirus.

Sanitation

Each and every Technician works under strict sanitation guidelines to ensure complete safety for us and our clients. Each Technician travels with disinfectants and antiviral solutions and uses them regularly on their hands, equipment, and worksite. With rigorous sanitation, we protect your home from any potential contamination and infection.

Hand Washing

Each Vaughan employee practices proper, thorough handwashing in accordance with CDC guidelines, which require each Technician to wash their hands for a full 20 seconds prior to and after each appointment.

Social Distancing

Each Vaughan employee has been thoroughly trained in social distancing practices. Your Technician will avoid handshakes and any physical contact and will stay at least six feet away from all residents for the duration of the appointment. We’ve taken great care to adapt our normal service practices around the precautions needed to keep you safe.
Providing HVAC and plumbing services during this time requires thorough training, comprehensive guidelines, and a disciplined team. At Vaughan, we’re proud to provide only the finest maintenance service while ensuring the safety of our clients and staff. We’re all going to get through this by working together, and Vaughan is here to support you, no matter what.
